BIO

Zoe is a multidisciplinary artist with a background in blacksmithing, stone carving and jewelry design. A graduate of KSA, She now focuses on small scale, limited edition cast sculpture.

Process

I hand-sculpt original forms in reusable oil clay, then create custom molds and cast each piece using a durable, nontoxic plaster polymer. Pigments made from minerals and oxides give each sculpture a soft, earthy tone. These are limited edition works, only 20 of each design. Each casting is a slightly different colour and finish, each one made by hand, in studio, in the Kootenay Mountains of BC.
